Section Internationale Américaine
This section aims to equip students with a more profound knowledge of English and awareness of American Culture at Lycée La Condamine
The American International Section is an original and additional program to Lycée La Condamine School that started in 2021.
We are one of the first AEFE member schools in Latin America to have the American International Section.
The Section’s purpose is to provide students with a deeper knowledge of the English language as well as awareness of American culture.
- In order to accompany the learning process, we use Cambridge American English books from the ‘Super minds‘ series.
- We also use Santillana’s MYON reading platform to foster a culture of reading in English from a very young age.
- Our goal for students is to obtain the Michigan Assessment Certificate every 2 years.
The students can enroll in the American International Section from CP (1st Grade).
INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATION
Colegio La Condamine is recognized by the College Board and we are a registered Michigan Test Preparation Center.
These certificates are accepted by several foreign Universities and will put students on a good path if they wish to study abroad.
- Students of the American International Section, at the end of the baccalaureate, will obtain a certificate signed by the Cultural Attaché of the U.S. Embassy in Paris.
- This certificate is validated and recognized by the College Board (Accrediting Agency of the U.S. Department of Education), which allows them access to U.S. universities.
